Track Facts
Located near the city of Monza, north of Milan, the Autodromo Nazionale Monza dates back to July 1922 when it was built by 3500 workers, financed by the Milan Automobile Club. It consisted of a 2.8 mi oval track and a 3.42 mi road track. Since then it has undergone a number of revisions that resulted in the modern day 3.60 mi long Grand Prix Circuit. Although the Italian Formula One and Superbike World Championship are held there, other race meets such as the World Touring Car Championship has been held there.
